This book is powerful, a wealth of knowledge to help reduce stress. It will guide you along your path to creating optimal health and well-being. It has 25 amazing chapters written by 25 brave people courageous enough to share real life journeys. Many stories I connected with on a personal level allowing me to identify these stresses exist in my own life. Each chapter offers guidance, tools and stragities to help you achieve physical and emotional well-being. There is an abundance of resources for stress relief and self-help. I will be using this book often as a reference guide to help me along my journey to optimal health and well-being! So informative, so helpful!
Like many other women, I find that my energies are most often directed outward, in nurturing and caring for those around me, while neglecting my own self-care. I knew I had to be kinder to myself, but how does one begin? In my search for a remedy, I've found it daunting at times to find a method or philosophy that works with my lifestyle, and how I think, without investing more time and effort than I truly have to give. This book may have solved that dilemma. Each chapter is a concise introduction to one method of stress management, with clear explanations of its benefits and methodology, with enough information to help the reader decide if the method might be worth researching further. I found myself especially drawn to Tapping for Turbulent Times by the Rev. Jennifer Moore. Having tried tapping/EFT once a few years ago (and being utterly amazed at the results,) I've always wanted to revisit it as a way to manage the effects of past trauma. The author gave a good overview of the technique, how it has helped her, and how one can use tapping as a form of self-care. Her simple, easy to follow instructions guided me through a solo tapping session during an especially difficult week. The effects were both subtle and powerful; I definitely plan to invest more time learning about the technique, based on that experience. I was also drawn to The Seven Second Mindshift, by Donna Blevins, PhD. Calm on demand? Seems too good to be true, but give it a chance, like I did. It's a neat little technique, easy enough to implement, it works, and she explains in some detail why it works. I've found myself practicing it during the day, and I really do feel a difference in just a few seconds. If I had a time machine, I'd give a copy of this book to myself, age 25. I definitely have a feeling I'll end up buying multiple copies of and gifting them to friends this year. I
A treasure chest of tools!!!
My theme of the year has been self-care due to all the stress in the world. This book was recommended to me by a healing practitioner. The book is easy to read and each chapter has a personal story and wisdom from the author plus a tool for self-healing. The practical and easy-to-use mindset tools and energetic strategies to decrease stress are invaluable to help power up my self-care and reduce stress. I'm grateful I found this book!!! It's a resource I'll use over and over.

Guide to complete self-care is the perfect book for the current times of uncertainty because it walks you through to a journey of finding your true self and to be certain of your own healing and creative capabilities. I absolutely love how through stories we can connect with each area of our lives that we might need to pay attention yo and then reversals very practical information to take care of them. I learned a lot reading this book and I think what’s brilliant is that is a comprehensive guide of a holistic approach to self care that reunites one hundred books in one! I loved it! We all know people who have a sizable collection of wellness books (OK, OK, I’m one of them). So, when I picked up a copy of The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care, I envisioned it happily taking its rightful place on my shelf. But from the moment I turned to the first page, I couldn’t put it down. Because it happens to be 25 separate books in 238 pages. Written by experts in their particular field, each chapter deals with definitive ways to balance, heal, and empower your life that includes everything from meditation to tapping and everything in between. As an example, there is Nancy Stevens’ Finding Calm in Daily Routine: A Step By Step Guide, Mindful Nutrition for Mental Wellbeing: Choosing Foods to Help Lift Your Mood, by Linda Gillan, Effective Decision Making: Eliminating Conflict and Confusion by Melissa Jirovec, and Embracing Life: Strategies for a Life Well-Lived, by Jim Phillips. Sure, not every book can be everything, but this one is perfect as a one-stop encyclopedia of a myriad of proven ways of improving your life.

In these uncertain times it’s great to have a tool such as this book. Whether you have anxiety over elections, stress over every day life, Covid concerns, or trauma in your life you will find a practice that enables you to heal. Daily practice becomes a routine, routines become habits, habits become lifestyle, lifestyle becomes fulfilling your journey.
Easy to read and easy to utilize in your life
The best thing about this book is that there's something for everyone whether you're a skeptic, extremely woo-woo spiritual or something in between. I lean more toward the woo-woo side of things but one of my skeptic friends loved the story I read to him and has already started using the suggested tools. I suspect he'll buy the book before the week is over! 25 chapters tell 25 unique stories about mental, physical and emotional wellness journeys. There's practical advice, tools and tricks you can customize and a deeply credentialed, caring group of authors who share their relatable personal stories. It's definitely worth the purchase!
